Life is fleeting; therefore, life is beautiful.

My work explores the Japanese aesthetic of Mujo (impermanence)—the profound beauty found in the fragile and the transitory. I perceive the elusive, ephemeral nature of existence not merely as a passing moment, but as the very essence of true beauty.

This vision flows across media, from immersive, site-specific installations to experimental works on paper. In my monotypes and watercolors, I embrace the concept of “empty color” (the space between hues) and the organic unpredictability of fluid media. These works are more than mere studies; they are intimate captures of energy—where the bleeding of pigment and the intentional use of negative space mirror the breath and stillness of the natural world.

In my installations, I bridge the material and the sensory by weaving organic elements with the ethereal qualities of light and sound. While technology facilitates these environments, it remains an ethereal presence, serving only to amplify the psychological resonance of the space. My suspended structures, swaying with a delicate precariousness, reflect the inherent instability of our existence.

Whether through the stroke of a brush or a synchronized pulse of light, my practice seeks to touch a chord of collective memory. Ultimately, the viewer is guided through a sensory journey—moving from psychological and physiological stimulation toward their own process of interpretation—a quiet, personal encounter with the sublime.
